Brittany Currier, SHRM-CP is the Founder, CEO and Principal Consultant at Empowered Solutions. She is a passionate and goal-oriented HR professional dedicated to improving workplaces through equitable and strategic HR solutions. Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in human sciences from Oklahoma State University and also holds her SHRM-CP certification. She has gained her business and HR experience by working as a practitioner in human resources, recruiting, client relations, sales and currently as an entrepreneur. Brittany has assisted organizations and clients across a variety of industries and sizes. She is passionate about helping strengthen small businesses by building relationships, empowering leaders and developing people to be their best. Brittany has received many awards for her work, such as the New Professional of the Year Award from the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association in 2019, the Emerging Leader Award from OKHR in 2021 and the New Professional of the Year Award from the Bixby Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2022. Brittany is currently serving as the VP of Public Relations for the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA) and as a talent committee member for the Oklahoma Manufacturers Alliance. Previously, Brittany served as a Board of Director Member for the Bixby Metro Chamber of Commerce. Rachel Barden is a seasoned sales executive with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. As the Vice President of Sales for Fountain Health Insurance, she leads a high-performing team and drives revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.  Fountain Health is committed to disrupting the insurance industry by identifying sickness and disease at its earliest stages and reduce healthcare costs in this country long term.  Rachel has worked with business owners through the span of career in providing innovative and cost containment solutions within various areas of their organizations.  She has been recognized as a top producer by exceeding sales targets and she is committed to the national growth expansion of Fountain Health Insurance.  Rachel has lived in South Florida the majority of her life and now resides in Hobe Sound, FL with her husband and two children.

Prior to joining Haynes Benefits PC, Brittney was the Chief Compliance Officer and In-House Counsel for an insurance brokerage firm with a primary focus on employee benefits law during her four-year tenure with the corporation. During that time, she supported and advised account management teams regarding internal and client health and welfare benefit plan compliance. During her tenure at Haynes Benefits PC, Brittney has served numerous clients as an Associate on the employee benefits team with a primary focus on upper-level health and welfare benefit plan compliance matters for single employer and multiple employer welfare arrangements. Examples of such matters include training, document preparation, and advisement regarding ERISA fiduciary duties; management of plan assets; complex cafeteria plan, eligibility, and termination scenarios; administration of specialized wellness programs; formation of VEBAs and corrective measures for inadvertent or illegal MEWAs; Department of Labor audits and interviews; and COVID-related compliance matters. Brittney now serves clients as a Principal at the firm while working remotely from the Dallas, Texas area.

Taylor Yancey, GBDS is a sales consultant for Mutual of Omaha with 7 years of experience providing ancillary benefits, leave management, and employee communication solutions for her brokers and employers in the DFW and Oklahoma markets. Taylor has maintained the Group Benefits Disability Specialist certification since 2019. From Atlanta, Georgia originally, Taylor accepted a position in the Sales Trainee program with Mutual right out of college in the DFW market and has been there ever since. She’s been a member of Mutual’s Chairman’s club for her sales performance for 5 years and has no plans of slowing down!
