Shannon Meroney was selected by the TAHU Board out of 300+ applicants in November 2017 to be the new TAHU lobbyist. She and her husband, Mike Meroney, own Meroney Public Affairs in Austin and have both been recognized and ranked as one the top 100 “Hired Gun” Lobbyists in Texas by the online political magazine Capitol Inside. 

The Meroneys serve as trusted advisers to clients, helping them influence legislation, regulations, and perceptions through direct legislative and regulatory advocacy, grassroots activation, and coalition building. Their expertise and network of relationships are continuing to help TAHU achieve its public policy goals and business objectives by shaping decision-making in Texas, Washington, and across the United States. 

Meeting cancellations received in writing 72 hours prior to luncheon will receive a full refund. No refunds or credits for cancellations or no-shows will be made after this time due to the costs inured to DAHU from our meeting host for meals prepared.

Non-Members who enroll to become DAHU Members on the day of the event will be eligible for a refund of their attendance fees as long as their membership application and membership payment are both received at the event registration desk the day of the event. Please note that both the attendance fee and membership payment must be collected with the attendance fee reimbursed within two to four weeks.
