About Tiffany Ryder, MHS, PA-C, MZQ Consulting
Tiffany Ryder is an NFL Cheerleader turned Emergency Medicine Physician Associate, outspoken patient advocate and compliance enthusiast. In addition to her role as Cofounder and Medical Director of Direct Care Connect, a nonprofit organization connecting uninsured and underinsured patients with primary care practices, she also serves as the Director of Fiduciary Services at MZQ Consulting, LLC, a benefits compliance and ACA reporting firm specializing in ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, IRS Code, the ACA and more.
With over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry designing medical programing, serving in pharmaceutical research and practicing emergency medicine, Tiffany has been a strong champion of health care reform. She is a sought-after speaker and commentator on a wide variety of healthcare and clinical issues, especially ones related to fiduciary duty and emergency and primary care.
As a mother of two neurodivergent children, she brings a unique perspective and advocacy to her work on behalf of others managing complicated medical needs in the health care marketplace. Tiffany frequently contributes to the national dialogue on health care and has been featured in US News and World Report, Public Health and Medicine Magazine, ALM and other industry publications. She regularly appears on Podcasts and speaks frequently at industry events.
