About the Event
Donna Wilkinson, Senior Counsel for Ameriflex, will discuss the new HRA rules and how to design these plans for small and large companies with a FSA and/or HSA. She will also discuss updates to consumer driven health account regulations and rules that went into effect 1/1/20, top compliance issues with consumer driven health accounts, how Direct Primary Care works, and the future of HSAs with Direct Primary Care.
Upon completion of this course, attendees will have: a working knowledge of the updated HRA rules and will know how to design benefits plans using these two new products, have an understanding of Direct Primary Care, ability to structure a health plan to remain in compliance with updated legislation, and gain skills to competently sell consumer driven healthcare products and services and have the ability to explain each. Attendees will learn the rules as they apply to account-based plans such as health FSAs, HSAs, and Direct Primary Care.
Donna Wilkinson joined Ameriflex as Senior Counsel in January 2018. In this role, she oversees Ameriflex’s legal activities and policies, as well as ethics, compliance and regulatory affairs. Donna also serves as the HIPAA Compliance Officer. Donna travels to Washington, D.C. frequently to assist with Ameriflex and Accresa lobbying efforts and meet with congressional members.
Prior to joining Ameriflex, she was Supervising Litigation Attorney at Barrett Daffin Frappier Turner & Engel, LLP (BDF). She also served as Counsel at The Marketing Arm, an Omnicom Company.
Originally from North Carolina, Donna moved to Dallas after graduating from law school in 2012. Donna received a JD from North Carolina Central in 2012 and a BA degree in political science and public administration from Elon University in 2008.

Meeting cancellations received in writing 72 hours prior to luncheon will receive a full refund. No refunds or credits for cancellations or no-shows will be made after this time due to the costs inured to DAHU from our meeting host for meals prepared.
Non-Members who enroll to become DAHU Members on the day of the event will be eligible for a refund of their attendance fee as long as their membership application and membership payment are both received at the event registration desk the day of the event. Please note that both the attendance fee and membership payment must be collected with the attendance fee reimbursed within two to four weeks.
