Texas Department of Insurance has filed with the Office of
the Secretary of State the proposal for the following rules,
which are scheduled to be published in the Texas Register
on August 5, 2005.
1.
Amendments to 28 TAC §3.3703, concerning insurer contracting
arrangements with preferred providers, pursuant to Senate
Bill (SB) 50, 79th
Regular Legislative Session. A formal hearing has been scheduled
for September 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Texas Department
of Insurance,
Hobby Building, 333 Guadalupe, Hearing Room 100 Docket #2615.

Amendments to 28 TAC §11.901, concerning health maintenance
organization (HMO) contracting arrangements with participating
physicians and
providers, pursuant to Senate Bill (SB) 50, 79th Regular Legislative
Session. A formal hearing has been scheduled for September
7, 2005 at
10:00 AM at the Texas Department of Insurance, Hobby Building,
333 Guadalupe, Hearing Room 100 Docket #2616.

Amendments to 28 TAC §§21.2802, 21.2807, 21.2815,
and 21.2821, concerning submission of clean claims, pursuant
to Senate Bill (SB) 50,
79th Regular Legislative Session. A formal hearing has been
scheduled for September 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Texas Department
of Insurance,

concerning utilization review agents, pursuant to Senate Bill

New 28 TAC §§21.3801 - 21.3808, concerning eligibility
statements, pursuant to Senate Bill (SB) 1149,79th Regular
Legislative Session. A
formal hearing has been scheduled for September 7, 2005 at
10:00 AM at the Texas Department of Insurance, Hobby Building,
333 Guadalupe,
Hearing Room 100 Docket #2619.
