DAHU Members, Colleagues and Friends,
Summer is heating up as is the political arena. With a multitude of media outlets available, it’s hard to read or watch the news without a comment or update on the political race or better yet, the mad dash to the finish line.

The weighted pressures are upon us now more than ever, our industry is at a dividing point with all the players at the table, WE (NAHU Members) need to collectively work as a unified voice recruiting your business associates and even your competitor, yes that’s right. We need every licensed agent as part of our team, joining the ranks of NAHU standing as a national VOICE supporting the very services, benefits and values we, as agents, brokers and insurance representatives provide to our clients; industry consumers; that includes us!

If you know someone, give them a call and invite them to the monthly luncheon held the 3rd Wednesday of each month *(Exception 9/23/08 – Dr. John Goodman) as your guest at the Member rate. The DAHU team would be happy to share our focus as we continue to work with elected officials, supporting a balanced, economically sound legislation platform with the right solutions to control medical spending and guarantee access to affordable coverage for all Americans. We believe this can be accomplished without limiting the people's ability to choose the health plan that best fits their needs and ensures them continued access to the services of independent state-licensed counselors and advocates. NAHU’s Healthy Access plan is a comprehensive approach to meeting this challenge, and a yardstick for evaluating other proposals.
