Client Sales Consultant
Job Summary:
As part of a regional sales operation, supports the sales of group insurance products by providing information to customers, brokers, consultants, and staff. Acts as local sales and service ambassador representing the company.
Functional Responsibilities:
Supports regional sales staff in the internal, post-sale activities associated with the acquisition of new business and in maintaining existing client relationships. Communicates sales-related information (rates, underwriting rules and requirements, procedures, plan exceptions, etc.) to sales personnel, customers, brokers, and/or consultants. Conducts post-sale enrollment meetings; presents product information, distributes approved materials, collects forms, and answers questions. Provides assistance with business renewals. Provides localized customer service when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience supporting a sales team ( such as sales brokers or sales reps )
* Bachelors degree preferred
* Ability to obtain a Texas state insurance license
* Ability to work independently
* Must be goal driven and self motivated
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite
