No, he was maneuvering to get a deal for his state. The deal is exemption from Medicaid expansion charges forever. This Christmas present goes along with the Louisiana deal struck by their Senator to the tune of $300 million. Those are the two we heard about; more deals have continued to surface over the past few days. How do these elected officials look themselves in the mirror? Do their constituents applaud them and reelect them for cutting a deal?
